Karole Kasita calls for safety seminars to minimize boda-boda accidents

Following a boda-boda accident that singer Karole Kasita witnessed and had to rush a lady and her baby to the hospital, she has called the government to implement seminars for boda-boda cyclists on road safety measures. The accident she witnessed got her thinking and questioning how these boda-boda accidents can be minimized and wondering whether there is a riding school where boda-boda men should first be enrolled before hitting the road. Her call for boda-boda men to be sensitized on road safety measures comes hot on the heels of a report that was recently released indicating how accidents had dropped but the boda-boda accidents that risen by 5%. The incident forced her to recall the first time she was involved in her own accident, she shared her story blaming a boda-boda rider for poor road usage where she had to rush a mother and her daughter to the hospital for first aid. Fortunately, God saved both of them, so with experience still fresh in her mind, she wants government to take a serious step towards helping cyclists use the road properly.
