Music Was Never My Passion, Mudra D Viral Announces Future Exit
Ugandan singer and songwriter Mudra D Viral has surprised fans with a candid revelation about his music career, admitting that music was never his true passion and that he plans to quit once he achieves financial stability.
During an interview with Mr Henrie, the hitmaker opened up about the personal conflict he has long faced between his successful music career and his deep Islamic faith. Mudra explained that certain aspects of the music lifestyle—particularly performing in bars and engaging with the nightlife culture—do not align with his religious beliefs.
“Music has never really been my passion. If I get money and stabilize, I will definitely stop doing music,” Mudra said, speaking honestly about his future plans.
The singer emphasized that his faith has always guided his decisions, making him question how long he can remain in an industry that often places him in environments he considers spiritually uncomfortable. “I am a religious man and very proud of my Islamic faith. Some of the things that come with this profession are not convenient for my beliefs,” he added.
Mudra D Viral’s revelation sheds light on the challenges artists face balancing personal convictions with public careers, and fans are left to reconcile their admiration for his talent with his decision to eventually step away from the music scene.
