UK High Commissioner Lisa Chesney Meets CDF Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba at SFC Headquarters

The UK High Commissioner to Uganda, H.E. Lisa Chesney, has paid a courtesy visit to the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, at the Special Forces Command (SFC) Headquarters.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed matters of mutual interest, including regional security, defence cooperation, and strengthening the long-standing partnership between Uganda and the United Kingdom.

General Muhoozi appreciated the UK government for its continued support toward Uganda’s defence and capacity-building initiatives, while H.E. Chesney commended Uganda’s contribution to regional peace and stability.

The visit underscores the ongoing collaboration between Uganda and the UK in promoting peace, security, and development across the region.
